200km of volcanic highlands, brutal weather, and the ultimate test of rider and machine.
This year, New York–based team ROR brought the TRIGON GV2 to one of the toughest gravel races in the world—The Rift, Iceland. The 200km course runs across lava fields, glacial rivers, deep sand, endless washboard, and sudden 25% climbs. Few environments push both rider and equipment harder.
A True Test for GV2
For TRIGON, The Rift was more than a race—it was a proving ground.
The GV2 delivered exactly what it was designed for: stability, precision, and endurance across constantly changing terrain.
- Geometry: planted yet responsive, giving riders control in unpredictable conditions.
- BLKTEC cockpit: one-piece carbon design that muted vibration across punishing washboard sections.
- Setup: SRAM Rudy XPLR 40mm fork and 10-46 gearing, providing versatility to climb steep walls and maintain speed on fast sections.
Through every challenge, the GV2 held its ground. No compromises. No drama. Just performance.
Partnership That Goes Beyond
Our relationship with ROR and BLKTEC is built on more than logos. It’s about shared ambition and real-world results.
At The Rift, this collaboration proved why we ride together: because we aim to Accomplish Beyond Goals.
Why The Rift Matters
Races like The Rift are not just competitions—they are crucibles. They test patience, pacing, equipment, and focus when everything hurts.
That’s why they matter to TRIGON: they reveal the truth of performance, far beyond the lab or showroom.
The GV2 passed its first major international test in Iceland. For us, it’s a clear statement:
TRIGON bike, clear performance.
Built to deliver when it matters most.
