TRIGON × SALU | Seeing the World at a Different Pace

“See a different world through a different speed.” TRIGON joins creator SALU Tzu-Chun on a cycling journey that blends movement and storytelling. This time, he isn’t simply arriving in cities — he’s riding to each destination himself.Every kilometer becomes part of the experience; every arrival becomes a story worth sharing. From long-distance expeditions and polar marathons to documenting the world through film and photography, SALU’s work has always revolved around one idea: movement.Turning life into an ongoing journey of exploration. This time, he chooses to move differently. And through that choice, discover the world again — at another pace. Different Speeds, Different Perspectives Walking reveals details.Running creates rhythm.Driving is distance and efficiency. Cycling exists somewhere in between. It transforms movement from passing through into being part of the environment itself.Wind direction. Elevation changes. Temperature shifts. On a bike, these things are no longer background elements — they become part of the experience. Long hours on the road also create space for something else:a conversation with yourself. For SALU, this journey is not only about seeing Taiwan from a different perspective. It is also about rediscovering who we become when we move through the world differently.   TRIGON RC2 | Finding Rhythm Across Distance Supporting SALU throughout this journey is the TRIGON RC2. Built around the philosophy of a classic road bike, the RC2 balances structure, control, and long-distance capability. Across Taiwan’s constantly changing terrain — open roads, rolling hills, and sustained climbs — the RC2 delivers stable feedback and consistent rhythm, allowing riders to stay focused on what matters most: the ride itself. Because over long distances, performance is not defined by a single burst of speed. It comes from the ability to keep moving forward. The RC2 is built for exactly that — offering confidence, consistency, and a rhythm riders can trust with every pedal stroke. From Movement to Connection For this project, each talk begins long before SALU steps onto the stage. Every ride becomes part of the story. Stopping in cities across Taiwan, SALU shares reflections gathered along the way — observations from the road, experiences shaped by movement, and conversations found through time spent riding. These moments become more than personal experiences. They become connection. Because cycling is not only about reaching a destination. It is about everything that happens in between. TRIGON Rides Beside You For TRIGON, this collaboration is more than a cycling project. It represents a choice — to move differently, to discover differently, and to understand the world through another rhythm. Whether on the race course or riding around an island, performance is only one part of the journey. We believe cycling is not defined only by where it takes us — but by how we choose to move forward. TRIGON rides beside you. On the road. And through every journey that becomes your own.

Ride Side by Side with TRIGON|Elmo’s 99-Hour Endurance Project

“From rhythm, toward a challenge of your own.”TRIGON partners with Elmo to launch his personal endurance challenge, Project “One”. This is an extreme ride to complete a full lap around Taiwan within 100 hours, finishing with a northbound ascent to Wuling. For Elmo, it is not just a test of physical endurance, but a long-form performance shaped by rhythm, control, and will. From dancer to rider, he translates the language of his body into every pedal stroke—and TRIGON chooses to ride alongside him. Riding as a kind of Performance As a dancer and performer, Elmo is accustomed to controlling his body through rhythm and making decisions within motion and change. In Project “One”, there is no stage and no spotlight. Instead, there are long hours of solitary riding, physical depletion, and the constant discipline of maintaining his own rhythm. Within this process, riding becomes more than movement—it becomes an ongoing dialogue with oneself.   TRIGON GV2|A Stable Rhythm for Long-Distance Challenges Accompanying Elmo on this journey is the TRIGON GV2, a platform that balances road efficiency with gravel stability. Across long durations and varied terrain, the GV2 delivers consistent geometry and endurance-focused performance, allowing a stable rhythm through city roads, coastal winds, and mountain climbs. Elmo named his custom-painted bike “Siam-Spice”, featuring a bright orange finish with metallic detailing. It reflects his personal expression—distinct yet controlled, powerful yet composed. Throughout the challenge, the bike was not just equipment, but a presence he could rely on.   At the Limit|Breaking and Rebuilding The challenge was far from smooth. In eastern Taiwan, Elmo collapsed in Fengbin due to caloric deficit. On the Suhua Highway, he again faced the edge of physical exhaustion. When rhythm breaks and the body loses control, it becomes the most difficult moment for someone used to commanding the stage. Yet it is precisely in that moment that he redefined what riding means—not perfect execution, but the ability to continue making decisions within imbalance. With the support of his team, he returned to his rhythm and kept moving forward. Final Section|Pushing Through the Edge The final challenge was the ascent to Wuling. Low temperatures, heavy rain, and altitude turned the ride into a pure test of will. Along the dark stretches of Provincial Highway 7A and through snowfall near Crystal Palace, everything reduced to its most fundamental form—breathing, pedaling, moving forward. In the final kilometers, the GV2 continued to deliver stable output, carrying him through the last stretch. The time was set at 99 hours, 20 minutes, and 55 seconds.   Ride Side by Side with TRIGON|From This Challenge to the Next For TRIGON, this is more than a record—it is a reflection of the relationship between rider and machine. We believe riding is not only about performance or distance, but about facing oneself, building rhythm, and continuing forward. Through Project “One”, we witnessed how a rider redefines his rhythm at the edge of his limits, and it reinforces what TRIGON stands for—to be something you can trust, and something that moves forward with you, on every road. Ride side by side with TRIGON.This is not the end—it is the beginning of the next journey.

TRIGON × Slope Coffee|A Ride, Side by Side

On March 28, TRIGON hosted a group ride in northern Taiwan, led by our partnered rider You-Cheng Chang, a member of Team CYTO TRIGON. Together with the team and fellow riders, we shared a ride that belonged to everyone on the road. From mountain climbs to open flats, this was more than just a ride—it was a rare chance to experience the rhythm of a professional rider up close. On the Road|Experiencing a Professional Rhythm Led by You-Cheng Chang in national team form, the ride carried a different kind of pace. Within the moving formation, riders could closely observe the cadence, cornering choices, and real-time decisions that define a professional cyclist. It was a kind of understanding that required no words. Among Team CYTO TRIGON riders, a natural formation and flow emerged—bringing a sense of stability and forward momentum that goes beyond everyday riding. This wasn’t just about speed. It was about a way of riding shaped by years of training and racing. From the Race|A Defining Moment at Tour de Taiwan After the ride, everyone returned to Slope Coffee for a sharing session. Ivan spoke about his first selection to the Chinese Taipei national team and his experience racing at the 2026 Tour de Taiwan. The most unforgettable moment came in the final 2 kilometers of the Taipei stage. In the fast-moving peloton, a sudden large crash disrupted everything.Originally assigned as a lead-out rider, he realized in an instant that his teammate was no longer there. “At that moment, I knew I had to go on my own.” In the chaos, he chose to move forward instead of waiting.Relying on instinct and condition, he pushed through to the finish—placing 18th in the stage, the best result for the national team that day. It wasn’t just a reaction to an unexpected situation. It was a decision made under pressure. From Support to Responsibility|A Shift in Role Ivan shared that when he first joined the national team, his role was to support senior riders. But racing has no fixed script. When the situation changed, he had to switch roles instantly—from a supporter to the one responsible for the outcome. This shift is not only about ability, but also about readiness. A question every rider eventually faces:when the moment comes, are you ready? Beyond Riding|The Value of Shared Experience This session wasn’t about numbers or distances. It was about how to manage effort, how to distribute energy, when to follow, and when to let go.The unseen details that truly shape a race. For those present, this wasn’t just an event. It was a piece of the race brought back into everyday riding. And with it, a deeper understanding of what riding means. Ride Side by Side with TRIGON Through rides and conversations like this,TRIGON hopes riding becomes more than an individual journey. On the same road, riders at different stages can see and understand each other. From competition to everyday riding, from athletes to enthusiasts—every pedal stroke is a choice. And we will continue to be on the road, riding side by side with you.

TRIGON at 2026 Taipei Cycle|From Riding to Style and Cultural Expression

From the race, toward a path of one’s own On March 28, 2026, Taipei Cycle concluded at Nangang Exhibition Center. For TRIGON, this was more than the end of an exhibition—it marked the beginning of a new way of redefining what riding can be. This year, we presented a renewed brand identity and design language. From bikes and colors to overall visual direction, we explored a central question: Can riding be more than performance—can it also become an extension of personal style? Color of the Year Series|Riding as a Form of Personal Expression One of the most talked-about highlights this year was TRIGON’s first-ever Color of the Year Series. Using color as a language, we reinterpreted the identity of riding—moving beyond specifications and performance, and allowing each rider to express their own rhythm and personality through design. These bikes are not merely aesthetic changes, but a response to how we see cycling culture evolving: riding can be about speed—and it can also be about style. TRIGON × RIFARE|Where Cycling Meets Style and Culture Another key highlight was the cross-disciplinary collaboration between TRIGON and RIFARE. RIFARE builds its design language around Japanese traditional split-toe(Tabi) footwear, reinterpreting heritage into contemporary form—bridging function and style.TRIGON, grounded in performance-driven bicycle engineering, explores how cycling can extend beyond function into broader cultural and stylistic expression. In this collaboration, both brands translated their core philosophies: From traditional craftsmanship to tangible new design elements. At the front structure of the frame, a visual reference to the “split-toe” concept is introduced—expressed through divided lines and structural separation.Between these divisions, exposed raw carbon fiber is intentionally preserved, allowing the material itself to become a connector between both worlds—symbolizing the meeting point of structure and culture. The paintwork further extends RIFARE’s perspective on tradition, incorporating “vintage textile” (kobu) as inspiration. This is not simply a pattern application, but a cultural translation—bringing textures shaped by time and daily life into the language of the bicycle, creating a layered dialogue between past and present. This design language extends into a full lifestyle system, including helmets, eyewear, footwear, and apparel.Through this collaboration, we explored how cycling can connect with fashion—not just as a functional extension, but as a way to bring riding closer to everyday life and personal expression. From Craftsmanship to Painting |Reimagining the Frame Whether through the Annual Color Series or the collaboration models, one core idea remains: A redefinition of frame finishing and manufacturing. With more flexible production capabilities and refined small-batch control, TRIGON is able to experiment with materials, graphics, and design integration—transforming the frame from a standardized product into a medium of expression. This is not just a visual evolution, but a shift in perspective: the bicycle becomes something that can be created, expressed, and reinterpreted.  TRIGON ride with you|Opening New Conversations At the exhibition, TRIGON was not only presenting products, but engaging with riders from different perspectives. From professional athletes to everyday cyclists, from performance-driven riders to those seeking style, we witnessed a growing diversity in how people ride. This reinforced our belief: cycling should not be defined by a single standard, but by multiple possibilities to be understood and lived. Ride Side by Side with TRIGON|Toward a More Open Vision of Riding For TRIGON, Taipei Cycle 2026 marks an important turning point. We move from the race into a broader world of riding—where bicycles are not only about performance, but also about style, culture, and personal attitude. Moving forward, TRIGON will continue to explore new forms of riding, riding alongside more people on their own journeys. TRIGON — Ride Side by Side with You.Beyond speed, and within style.

    Riding Together Through the Year

From the Racecourse to Your Own Path In 2025, TRIGON and Team CYTO TRIGON shared a journey that was challenging, honest, and deeply meaningful. The European Training & Racing Sharing Event held on December 21 was not merely a retrospective—it became a moment to reconnect with what truly matters. Competitive cycling is not only about results, but about how one confronts oneself along the way. The Essence of Competition Is a Dialogue With Yourself This year, the team entered the high-intensity training camps and race environments of Europe—faster rhythms, greater pressure, and no home-ground advantage. It was not a romantic adventure, but a process that demanded honesty, resilience, and self-awareness. Throughout training and competition, we witnessed athletes face setbacks, recalibrate, and begin again. With every pedal stroke, they learned to take responsibility for their own expectations. At TRIGON, we believe this is the true beauty of competition—not the moment on the podium, but the countless moments of choosing not to look away from yourself.  Riding Alongside the Team Clarified Who We Are Walking this road with Team CYTO TRIGON over the past year, TRIGON did more than observe a team’s growth—we gained a clearer understanding of our own role.As riders trained abroad and refined their judgment and rhythm under pressure, we found ourselves asking: what does it truly mean to ride alongside them? The answer is simple. To remain steady when it matters. To stay present when things become difficult. And to keep moving forward together, even when the outcome is not yet visible. A year of riding together has deepened our understanding of what “Riding Together” truly stands for. TRIGON Rides With You In 2025, our focus was on the competitive arena—seeing how cycling shapes a young rider’s growth and decisions. As we look toward 2026, TRIGON hopes to carry this spirit even further. Not only for professional athletes, but for everyone who rides with a dream in mind.Whether on the racecourse or on a long-distance ride, every journey is a conversation with your own rhythm. Cycling has never been just about speed or distance. It is about discipline in life, commitment to your goals, and the ongoing dialogue with yourself. Because we believe—what truly matters is not how far you ride, but how you choose to ride, why you set off,and whether you are willing to ride alongside yourself every step of the way.

TRIGON Rides Beside You|U23 Road Race Champion: Chang You-Cheng – Team CYTO TRIGON

At TRIGON, we believe every rider’s dream deserves someone riding beside them. This year, we were honored to support Chang You-Cheng, who claimed victory in the U23 Individual Road Race at the 2025 National Road Cycling Championships with steady pacing, decisive judgment, and precise adaptation to the course. The race concluded on November 23, with strong performances across Team CYTO TRIGON. The Huatung Course: A Test of Versatility The Huatung route is known for its unpredictability:the long ascent of Yuchang Highway, the shifting crosswinds along the coastline, and high-speed sections that demand instant reaction. It challenges every rider—and reveals whether a bike can deliver power and stability when it matters most. For this race, Team CYTO TRIGON riders selected the AR Series, with the AR01 as their primary machine.   AR01|Balancing Aerodynamics, Stiffness, and Lightweight Efficiency The AR01 integrates aerodynamic shaping, responsive stiffness, and a refined lightweight structure to perform across all race scenarios: Stable pacing over long distances Direct and confident sprint acceleration Clear power transfer on steep climbs Reliable control in strong crosswinds On a route that demands versatility, the AR01 showed its full capability.   Rider’s Perspective|Chang You-Cheng: “The AR01 Let Me Focus on the Race” For You-Cheng, the coastline was the most punishing section: “The wind kept shifting, and my energy was fading. That stretch really tested my will.” Throughout the race, the AR01 provided the confidence he needed. He described his experience: Long climb – Yuchang Highway“Every pedal stroke translated smoothly into speed. The downhill felt stable, which let me stay relaxed even at high pace.” Coastal crosswinds“The aero performance made a clear difference. It saved valuable watts—all of which matter in the second half.” High-speed sections“The acceleration is very direct. When an attack happens, the bike reacts immediately.” His trust in the bike comes down to one simple truth:“What reassures me most is its acceleration. When I press down, the bike moves.” On the Huatung course, the AR01 balanced support on long climbs, stability in the wind, and firm power transfer during accelerations. Race Moments|Crisis, Pressure, and Breakthrough A scare at the start:“My right shifter suddenly ran out of battery. Fortunately, Yue-Xiu and our mechanic Yi-Qian fixed it immediately—otherwise I couldn’t have finished the race.” A familiar moment of being caught:“With 40 km to go, our breakaway was absorbed by the peloton. It hurt—especially because the same thing happened last year.”He described it as “a familiar kind of pain,” but this time, he held his rhythm, steadied his mindset, and turned the moment into a breakthrough—earning the national title.   About Chang You-Cheng|Finding a New Sense of Direction A member of Team CYTO TRIGON:Chang You-Cheng You-Cheng has been riding for nine years, beginning in junior high. His most uncertain period came when he left his original team in college—until a recommendation from senior rider Hsu Yu-Kai led him to TRIGON FACTORY RACING, the predecessor of today’s Team CYTO TRIGON. There, he found a renewed sense of belonging: “Here, I found the feeling of home. That matters more than any victory.” He sees himself as an all-rounder, with endurance, decision-making, and pacing as his core strengths. This U23 title marks the conclusion of his university chapter. Ahead of him are bigger stages:the Asian Championships, Tour de Okinawa, Tour de Taiwan, Tour of Poyang Lake, and preparation for advancing to the Elite category.   TRIGON riding Beside You|Supporting Growth and Ambition Riding alongside our athletes and community is TRIGON’s pride. We believe no rider should face the road alone.Whether in training, racing, or pursuing personal goals, TRIGON aims to be a steady and reliable force at your side.
